Julianna Fisher, LMHC-D
Psychotherapist
Julianna is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a graduate from New York University’s Post Master’s Certificate program in CBT. Julianna is also a Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) and has experience working in both inpatient and outpatient settings with clients struggling with OCD, anxiety, trauma, and substance use disorders. Julianna places priority on using warmth, empathy, and approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) to create a collaborative environment where clients can explore and use their values as agents for change. Julianna sees clients both in office and remotely; often being collaborative and creative about exposure work by meeting outside of the office whenever necessary to practice ERP in the “real world.” Julianna strives to provide an empowering environment that recognizes and respects cultural diversity and the individualization of therapy.
