Avery is a second-year master's student at NYU's Silver School of Social Work, completing her clinical placement this year with City Center Psychotherapy. Her practice areas include anxiety, depression, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), eating disorders, and trauma. She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Strengths-Based Approach, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness, providing skills-based tools and techniques to help her clients reach their goals and make improvements in their lives. Compassion and warmth are at the core of her practice, supporting those with whom she works to realize lasting change.
